Foodsake, as opposed to pete's sake.
This denotes how frustrated I was when I went shopping for freefrom products. When going out shopping for my mum and brother it became apparent that shopping for freefrom products was not an easy process.
In some, if not most supermarkets are lacking variety and customer service. Don't get me wrong some of the products are amazing. But as a regular buyer of freefrom products it gets boring and frustrating walking into a huge supermarket only to find that the freefrom section is minuscule compared to the rest of the supermarket.
I started to do a little bit of research and found that there were loads of new, niche, and exciting products out there that's not available in supermarkets, or at least not available in every supermarket.
Myself and Adam (co-founder) decided to do some market research to grasp more of an understanding about how the freefrom community feels. We decided to create and release an online survey and we found that you felt the same way!
The most surprising and fascinating find, was the fact that the community really came together and were more than happy to help! The freefrom community really is a lovely bunch of people and are always there for you when you need help or advice with anything. So why not bring this into a lovely website full of great ideas, people and products! Sounds like a blue sky to me!
Thanks for reading my blog, I hope you enjoyed looking around our site and are excited as I am for the future of Foodsake!
